The beach at aldeburgh is made of pebbles so you can hear little of that as i walk around. You can the crashing of the waves against the pebbles and that fizzing noise as the sound dies down and the water recedes from the beach. This was recorded using a zoom h2n in 16-bit. Wav format.

Relatively quiet suburban neighborhood ambience/room tone. No people, distant cars in the background, light wind. Recorded with a rode-ntg3 and zoom f4.
The audio was recorded for a class assignment, during the evening in iowa city. Mostly comprised of very soft background crickets and gentle traffic noises; there are also a few interesting sounds such as radio from passing cars.
A few minutes of sparkly fresh water lapping on the seaside. There are a few occasional aural intruders, such as the low rumble of an engine in the distance.
Church bells and song. Rode nt4 mic perpendicular and centered pointing outside a window. The church is biased to one side because of it's location relative to window. Captured through an maudio delta 1010lt.
Singing sparrows in the yard. It was recorded with canon powershot s3is camera at university campus in nizhyn, ukraine, spring 2009. No software was used for correction.

Various birds chirping, ambient wind noise, wind chimes, and a few creaks recorded on a window sill. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in audacity. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.
I made this using two oscillators in native instrument's fm8 synth. There is nothing too fancy, just two sine waves played out the same output, but one has an offset of 440hz, and the second oscillator has an offset of 330hz. I then just played two notes that didn't sound too dissonant, and then ran it through some low-fi processing.
